She was born in 1967 in Heidelberg, Germany, she is married and she has one son. They live in Walldorf, near of Heidelberg.
Since spring 2009 she concentrates herself on working with pastels; after painting in watercolour for many years. She is so enthusiasting about the intensity and luminance of pastels.

She deeply enjoy working with her fingers, without any tools. Mainly used sticks are Sennelier, Girault and Terry Ludwig on pastelcard from Sennelier. The centre of interest in her works is the landscape with its lights an shadows, colours and atmosphere.
She has done workshops in pastels at the german artist Astrid Volquardsen. Her favourite artists are Elisabeth Mowry, Claude Texier and Richard McKinley.
