There were 5 entries for the September "free choice" challenge. The winner is Luzia Zipperle with her lovely portrait of Eddie. Congratulations Luzia! Second place goes to Dorothee Rohler with The Hottest Day.
Well done to all who entered. The standard was very high!
The October challenge is in the Landscape category - an Interior. Closing date is the 25th October. For inspiration have a look at the Dusty entries for September. Why not set up your easel with a view of your own room and have a go!

The winning entry is
Contemplation, by Sharron Blackmore.
Second prize, a DVD with Dawn Emerson doing a demo, is won by Eve Miller's Magic hour.
Congratulations, Sharron and Eve!
Shared third place goes to Steffi Decker's Green Striped, and Kerstin Birk's Water tank in the evening sun.
Finalists are: Jim Humphreys and his Embarrassed; and Ole Hedeager and his Mad Man.
Well done, congratulations!

So the Apprentice Challenge has been open since May but only 4 entries! Well done to those who made the effort!
The winner is Jim Humphreys with his excellent "Booted out". Well done Jim!
Second place goes to Anthony Wake with "Well worn".
The September AC is "Free Choice" and the closing date is the 25th September. Come on Apprentices! if you want this challenge to continue you'd better enter it!

So that the Apprentice Challenge can get back in step with the Dusty the challenge for September is "Free Choice". Lets have a few more entries. What have you to lose?
